From the top menu, choose Groups –> Personal Librarian Program
From the left side menu, click Members
From the available filters, choose Member Tags and select your NetID from the list
To send an email to specific class years, choose Year Grad. From the filters, select the year or years you would like to email
Some of you may have been assigned a targeted cohort of students based on their athletic affiliation or FSI status. To email these students separately, you will need to do some additional filtering by Member Tag. If you have not been assigned a cohort, proceed to step 9
After selecting your NetID, return to the Member Tag filter and select Contains AND at the top
Scroll down and select the tag for your cohort.
Example: FSI or MSO (Men’s Soccer)
Note: If you need to filter out a selection of students, continue scrolling down through the Member Tags until you see Does Not Contain OR AND. From here you can filter out students with particular tags by selecting the AND option and the relevant tag
If your list looks correct, click the checkbox to select all
Note: Click the Select all [#] Emails option below if all members have not loaded on the page, otherwise you might only have the first 20 or so selected
From the top of the list, click Send Email
Choose Email Composer
Under Choose a “From” email address, select your email from the drop down menu
Select an Introduction from the drop down menu. If choosing this option, remember to delete any greeting you may have added to the body of your message (the new greeting will automatically appear at the very top of the email)
Under Compose your email, fill in the subject line
Select from the list of templates in the content box below
Make any further modifications to your desired template
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Choose Preview it first…
Finally, click Save and Send
You will receive a confirmation email when sent
To review your sent email, return to the left side menu and click Emails –> Sent. Here you can review all sent emails and some corresponding statistics, including:
